Kris Colt is an American Celtic crossover vocal artist, who brings with her the historical tradition of the Bardic Storyteller. Weaving her successfully radio charted originals, Kris Colt will lead you through an evening of the most beloved Irish and Scottish classics as well as the sassy fun filled upbeat pub tunes that get you stomping and singing along. Kris is an accomplished songwriter—both lyricist and Composer—whose debut CD entitled THE VOYAGE, A MYSTICAL JOURNEY, is distributed by New York’s Dara Records. Selections from The Voyage received national airplay across the United States and Canada And reached #26 on NAV national music chart Colt’s current single, ARMS OF A STRANGER, from Her most recent CD has already received acclaim on national commercial radio.

The Black Rose Band have been popular attractions at Celtic Fairs and Festivals Throughout Southern California such as The Great American Irish Fair in Orange County, The San Diego Highland Games and most recently had a terrific time as one of the headlining acts at this years Pomona Irish Fair at Fairplex. The Black Rose Band bridges the gap between the Celts uniting Scots and Irish and there dominant influence onto American culture. They tear up the stage with enthusiastic passion.

Kris is extremely proud to work with her extraordinary band mates, Phil Ernst on guitar, Steve Ayvazian , on vocals and percussion, Ed Lalo Lindgron on the classic Irish Harp and Peter Maloney on fiddle and mandolin, while Kris herself as lead vocalist also plays the guitar and ancient Irish bodhron drum. Together they spark the stage with flames of musical fire!
